Help permanent residents to naturalize and become U.S. Citizens!

This year, Asian Law Alliance will be participating in Project New Citizen's naturalization campaign and will need your help!

We are recruiting community members, attorneys, paralegals, translators, law students, and college students to help with our largest naturalization workshop of the year. Volunteers will assist with registration, logistics, form filling (N-400) and attorney review. This event will take place completely online through Zoom.

Multilingual (especially those that speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Korean) volunteers and those with previous naturalization experience are particularly needed. For volunteer attorneys, we ask that you are very familiar with the citizenship forms.

All volunteers will need to attend a 2-hour training. Immigration attorneys must attend training to learn the Citizenshipworks platform.

Volunteer trainings will be provided on the following dates:

  • Sunday, April 24 at 10:00 am PST
  • Friday, May 13 at 3:00 pm PST
  • Training will be recorded and sent to those who have contacted Maelin Aquino that they are not able to attend either training.

You will be sent the training link closer to the day of. If, when registering, you are not prompted to select a training date, please fill out this link.

If you have any questions or attendance issues, please reach out to Maelin Aquino at [email protected]

Sign up today, we look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,

Maelin Aquino
