Join us in San Jose to help hundreds of immigrants become U.S. Citizens!
We are recruiting community members, attorneys, paralegals, translators, law students, high school students, and college students. Volunteers will assist with registration, logistics, form filling (N-400) and attorney review.
Bilingual (especially those that speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Tagalog) volunteers and those with previous naturalization experience are particularly needed.
All new volunteers will need to attend a 2-hour training. If you have attended a previous training in the past or are an immigration attorney, you do not need to attend another training.
Volunteer trainings will be provided on the following dates in preparation for Citizenship Day on April 21:
Saturday, April 7 – 3:00-5:00pm
Tuesday, April 10 – 6:00-8:00pm
Monday, April 16 – 6:00-8:00pm
Wednesday, April 18 – 6:00-8:00pm
